Let Dublin see the Pillar Gates

Picture

The Gates to Nelson Pillar have been lost in time.   Some of Dublin's newest Citizens do not even know of the existence of this famous Pillar which stood on O'Connell Street until 1966.

This structure was part of Dublin Life for over a 150 years.  The Gates today stand unidentified at a Dublin City Council Sewerage Pumping station in Ringsend.

We are asking that the gates are put on display in the Little Museum of Dublin or another suitable location so that people can enjoy our Dublin heritage.

Re-tweet to support the proposal and share with your City Councillor and the media.
